Responsibilities

• Field Data Collection (Main Job)
• • Visit households, shops, farms, enterprises
  • Conduct face-to-face interviews
  • Fill survey schedules (digital/tablet or paper)
• 👉 Surveys include:
• • Employment / unemployment
  • Consumer expenditure
  • Health, education, MSME data

 Interaction with Public

• • Explain purpose of survey to respondents
  • Build trust and ensure cooperation
  • Maintain confidentiality of data

Must Have

• Data Recording & Accuracy
• • Record answers accurately and completely
  • Cross-check responses before submission
  • Maintain field notes and observations
• Extensive travel within assigned area (urban + rural)
• In Bangalore region:
  • Can include nearby districts in Karnataka
• Daily field visits are common

Reporting

• Submit daily/weekly progress reports
• Report issues to:
  • Field Officer
  • Supervisor
